Beyond Traditional Therapies
"What is severed at a spiritual and cellular level must be healed at a spiritual and cellular reconnection." Joni Kim was created from that knowing.
Inspired by Han-puri, the Korean shamanic practice of untangling grief held in the body, lineage, and DNA. These modern circles honor its ritual wisdom through release, while create space for remembrance and embodied belonging.
I carried a lifetime searching outside myself for a mother’s love and a deep sense of belonging, only to discover that it had been within me all along.
Through years of integration, identity work, and ancestral healing, I came to understand how much grief the body can carrythrough bloodlines, inherited patterns, and the systems that shape our lives.
So often, inherited pain is mistaken for personality.
As my awareness deepened, I began to lovingly release what was never mine to carry.
And in that ceremonial letting go, space opened.
Space to remember what had always been true:
We come from a lineage far older than the wound.
We descend from people who endured war, poverty, division, and unimaginable hardship, and still passed down beauty, nourishment, ritual, resilience, and love.
Healing is not only about naming what was severed. It is also about remembering the sacred inheritance that has always lived within us.
This is the medicine I now offer to others.
