The Meaning
As a Korean adoptee, reflects healing beyond separation, the returning of what once felt like floating between two worlds—two families, two beginnings—into belonging within one Self.
The design embodies this journey—blending English & Hangul letterforms, honoring my full identity, including the parts I once felt disconnected from and am now reclaiming.
Inspired by the trigram bars of the Korean flag, the design reflects the harmony of opposing forces and marks the journey’s crossroads. What began as a search for home slowly became a path of remembrance.
The Journey Back To Wholeness

I know what it’s like to feel as if something inside you is missing.
My story began with the early loss of my Korean family, lineage, and birth culture, and unfolded through an adoptive upbringing marked by neglect and emotional abuse. For decades that early imprint shaped how I loved, adapted, and searched for belonging.
I grew up deeply dysregulated without knowing it. Survival was so familiar, it felt like who I was. I turned pain into work, alcohol, and coping patterns that helped me feel soothed and worthy until they no longer worked.
Healing those early wounds shaped the woman, leader, and guide I am today. What changed the course of my life was learning to safely reconnect with my body through supportive relationships, somatic work and plant medicine. These opened profound insights, yet it was conscious integration that gave them meaning and turned them into lasting change.
As I evolved, I raised the standard for what I allow in my life and relationships, breaking intergenerational patterns and reshaping the way I lead. I create and support spaces grounded in mutual respect and genuine connection, where we are fully seen, valued, and honored.
Through held space, shared language, and embodied practices, we begin to make meaning of what was once held in the body without words, allowing integration and evolution to unfold.
Wherever you are in the process, we begin gently, creating the safety needed to return home to yourself.

Where a little magic opens
new ways of seeing
We are living in a third-wave psychedelic renaissance - shaped by a collective longing for brain health, wholeness and consciousness - where science meets indigenous wisdom.
During a psychedelic school intensive in Costa Rica, I spent time alongside Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris, whose research explores how psychedelics support neuroplasticity.
He described rigid neural pathways as deep sled tracks in snow. When those tracks soften, the mind can behave like a shaken snow globe - fresh snow settling over old thought patterns, making new pathways possible.
What determines whether those new pathways fade or take root is integration.
This is where reframing turns insight into lived alignment.
If you're curious, let's explore what this could mean for you.

"Joni is truly gifted in this space, and I felt deeply held and safe with her. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but trusting the process became one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve made. Other methods hadn’t worked and this experience has already begun changing my life in ways I never thought possible."
